20 Feb 2004 - Local Community Worker leaves Broom after 14 years
Taking up his new post as Centre Manager at the Corrie Centre in Cardenden Kevin is looking forward to a new challenge.
'It's been great being part of the exciting developments which have taken place in Broom over the past 14 years. I never thought I'd stay this long at the Community Flat. It's such a good place to work and I've learned so much working with local people and an excellent staff team over the years.'
'Of course I'll miss working in Broom, but its time to move on.'
'Thanks to everyone who have helped make my experience in Broom such a positive one. Keep up the good work!'
STOP PRESS...
Thankyou to everyone who conspired, planned and worked hard to organise a leaving doo to remember. Your kindness, compliments, cheek, embarrssing stories, gifts and cards were all very much appreciated - a thousand thankyous to every one who contributed, came along, and sent good wishes. Does Bryan Poole look like Michael Aspel or Father Ted - I can't decide??
